Herring
There's a boat in the harbour
It will never sail again
Old , rusty
Like a dead man
And the captain he is buried
In a forgotten grave
Riding , homewards,
On an ocean wave
There was glory, there was passion
They were young, wild and free
Fishing the herring
On the North Atlantic sea
Beautiful ocean
What have we done?
We killed the herring
They are almost gone
There's a boat in the harbour
And tomorrow it will sail
To protect the herring
To save the whale
And the captain is a woman
She is young wild and free
In her visions is the ocean
A clean and healthy sea
Beautiful ocean
What have we done?
We killed the herring
They are almost gone
They are almost gone

Info: A song about the ocean. Since we started to use fish oil and fats for products like make-up, lubricant oils and cattle fodder it was just a matter of time that fish would die out. I have a great concern that lots of fish species and other animals are depleted all throughout the world.
