Seagull

Seagull

Yesterday a seagull came to me
Took me to the wide and open sea
And she said hey can't you see
You're not a prisoner, you're free

No I can't, I have shut the blinds
I have closed the border of my mind
I ignored the lightning and the signs
'Cause I thought that I was left behind

Don't be afraid to open up your eyes
Even when you think they tell a lie
You must see true colors in the sky
And the truth before you die

When I come back to you in spring
You will have a melody to sing
You will wear a silver ring
Then she touched me with her little wing
