Stop The Mill

Stop The Mill

Go to the mountains
Stop the mill
Fill the bottles
Climb the hill
Go alone
Find new chords
If you have a question
You can ask your Lord

God in heaven
Is there an answer
For what I am doing here
On this earth

Is there anybody out there
Who can give me an answer
For what I am doing here
On this earth

Go to the mountains
Stop the wheel
Say goodbye
And make no deal
Take a backpack
And close the door
Don’t need a roadmap
You can ask your Lord

God in heaven
Is there an answer
For where I’m going to
On this earth

Is there anybody out there
Who can give me an answer
For where I'm going to
On this earth

Go to the mountains
Stop the train
Leave the city
Touch the rain
Saddle up
And button your coat
High in the mountains
It’s freezing cold

God in heaven
Is there an answer
For what I’m doing here
On this road

God in heaven
Is there an answer
For what I’m doing here
On this road

Is there anybody out there
Who can give me an answer
For what I'm doing here
On this road

Go to the mountains

Stop The Mill - The Other Side - With Jolien Damsma

Title: Stop The Mill

Song & Lyrics: Stefan van de Sande

Album: Beer Trap Series Vol. I, Gone, The Other Side

Year release: 2010, 2011, 2016

Year composing: 2010

Info: Sometimes it is time to put all the systems off, shut the door, take your tent and stove and warm sleeping bag and hike in the mountains. Find rest and quietness and the answers will come, but I can't promise that. Most of the time we know answers but we have to become quiet and honest to hear or see them.
